Alliance Hospice tailors its services to the specific needs and wishes of each of our patients and their circle of family and friends. Our deep experience helps us to guide you and our deep philosophy of care helps us listen to you as we form an alliance of care. We become your trusted partner to help you and your family make every day count. Our planning together might include:

• explaining clearly how the illness will progress and what palliative care will relieve physical discomfort
• seeking accord with religious, spiritual, and/or ethical beliefs
• helping with funeral arrangements and assistance with understanding living wills
• finding fulfilling activities and pursuits with others or by oneself
• communicating the patient's wishes and beliefs to family, friends, and caregivers
• planning for contact with family and friends: who, when, how much
• providing emotional support and/or practical training for family and friends so they may better support the patient
• providing bereavement support and/or training for family and friends before and after the death

It is never too early to begin thinking about hospice for oneself or one's family, and to begin discussing one's wishes with family and friends. When the stress of a serious or life limiting illness confronts a family, they are comforted knowing they have already discussed and decided on their end-of-life care. With our experience and expertise Alliance Hospice offers helpful consultation and support as people think through and make their choices.
